After the huge success of last week's Club Penguin United Water Party (which I forgot to blog about), I was immediately looking forward to the next meetup!
The event was entitled, "Mission: Space", and was hosted by fellow author Silly Moose.
With the theme being Space, many people had decorated their igloos in a futuristic manner, and had prepared similar themed costumes. I certainly did!
We first assembled on the Ski Hill to kick off the party, where we all greeted each other. On a side note, I was quite surprised that Riyita did not show up, given the theme of the party.
We then headed to the Ski Lodge for a game of Find Four. Having been thrashed countless times by Aussie Find Four Gold Medallist, Rosytilly, I have to admit I was a little nervous incase I would humiliate myself once again! (Let me know in the comments if you have ever beaten her!)
We all had some great games, and I managed to regain some confidence in my Find Four abilities.
It was then time for a group selfie at the Lighthouse Beacon. Please ignore Abbygrace2 taking delight in Starjump19's misfortune of being crushed by Penny2415...
It was then time to board our flight into Space. The flight was very enjoyable as you can see, despite a few penguins getting airsick along the way. We even had a burger bar onboard!
We soon arrived in Space, where we explored many futuristic igloos. We were soon greeted by long standing Club Penguin Veteran, Pup1one.
This was where the party became divided into two, as Pup1one announced he was quitting Club Penguin that day. Despite this, he told us that he would still remain active on Twitter.
This was certainly an emotional moment, as we were losing a truly iconic Club Penguin Legend. We then had a penguin huddle before wishing him farewell and good luck on his future endeavours.
This final shot captured our (probably) last ever group selfie with Pup1one.
Goodbye Pup, you will be forever in our hearts. You are a genuinely talented, kind and friendly person, and we wish you all the best for the future!
