Hey Frosty Flighters (can I call you guys that rofl)!

You might not know me, but my name is Vanessa! I have been invited to join Frosty Flight as a blogger, and of course, I accepted!

Just so you know, I have no blogging experience AT ALL, but I will try my best to make sure my content will interest you, and not send you off to sleep :)

First off, I would like to introduce myself, so you guys can get to know me better. So let's start over :)

Club Penguin Reunion Event 2016

Hi Penguins, Tripplem Here :)

I hope you all had an amazing start to the week!

On the night of Monday 24th at 1:30PM PST, to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of Club Penguin, the CPReunion Team held a party on the server Marshmallow, where penguins had the opportunity to meet multiple long standing CP Veterans and Mods. This was in fact the last of four Club Penguin Reunion parties which took place over the weekend, except this one was by far the most popular as it was for English speaking penguins.

As expected, there was an extremely high turnout, with the coffee shop getting close to its full capacity about 1 hour before the party commenced! I was away from my keyboard most of that time, but I did manage to take a few screenies:

As we can see here, many excited penguins are anticipating the start of the Reunion. Unfortunately, I think Gabriel7373 was tying his shoelaces at the moment I took this...

Hearts all around for 11 years on Club Penguin and an awesome community! This was my personal favourite screenshot of the night.

We passed the next hour chatting and dancing with cake and coffee, eagerly waiting for the party to start! (And also praying to the Merry Walrus that we wouldn't get disconnected and be unable to reenter the Coffee Shop due to the fact that the room was now completely full.)

We also noticed some famous and familiar faces during the wait, such as retired Club Penguin artist and former POTD, Chilly0ne. She was so nice and friendly! She was even kind enough to send me a postcard.

The legendary Dj Maxx, who goes back all the way to the ancient days of Penguin Chat 3, even made an appearance! It is important to note though, that his is neither a mascot nor a moderator.

This screenshot was taken EXACTLY when the CP Clock struck 1:30PM, it seems I was not the only one counting down...

Soon some frequently seen moderators including Megg and Deamama arrived. Btw, Postcard me Megg!

It was then time to waddle over to the Pumpkin where we had the opportunity to meet and chat to some not-so-frequently seen moderators such as Stackoverflo and Sir Champion.

I even managed to friend and chat to Sir Champion, thanks to Rosytilly who kindly introduced me to him!

Unfortunately, I had to leave early as it was getting late for me, so we decided to take a quick smile selfie with Sir Champion and Sheepvsgrav!

I'd like to give a huge thanks to the CPReunion Team and everyone else who made this event possible. I had a lot of fun and managed to chat to lots of penguins. Unfortunately I was told later that I had left just before Chrisdog93, one of my favourite penguins ever, arrived. However, this was also my first ever time attending a Club Penguin Reunion event and it remained a truly unforgettable experience. Thanks for all the great memories my fellow waddlers!

The Commemoration of King89698

Hi Penguins, Tripplem Here :(

You may be wondering why I concluded my catchphrase with a sad face this time. Well, I'm afraid I have some very, very sad news for us all.

A few days ago, a long-standing member of the Club Penguin community tragically had his life taken away from him, aged just 16.

His name was King89698. He was an active member of the community and was close friends with many people. He was extremely active on Xat and posted CP videos regularly on his YouTube channel. He also founded the Kings of CP in May 2015, a major CP army with a current troop stand of 43,518. He was an extremely friendly and talented guy and he will most definitely be missed by everyone.

Many people expressed their condolences to King89698. Here are just some of them:

Rosytilly - “Gone too soon. Rest in peace my dear friend @King89698Cp I will keep every moments I had with you forever. Thank you for everything.”

Jdan1001 - “I am shocked to hear the tragic news. RIP @King89698Cp, you will be missed by all of us. My prayers are out to his family. Love, Jdan1001”

Riyita - “I’m entirely taken back by this news. RIP @King89698Cp, you will be missed. I wish your family well during these hard times.”

Pup1One - “Today, we’ve lost @King89698Cp. Words cannot express how devastated I am. He was kind, generous, funny, and intelligent. Rest In Peace King”

Tech70 - “Waddle on. You’ll be missed by all penguins. This goes to @King89698Cp, who passed away in real life.”

Pingu15Cool - “I am on @clubpenguin with one of my best friends. Thank you for our amazing friendship! THE KINGUS FOREVER :D”

In commemoration of his death, the CPUnited Team *Pingu15Cool, a member of the team, was one of his closest friends* decided to alter their plans slightly. The original plan was to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of Club Penguin, but since the tragic news was heard the night before the party, they decided to make it half a celebration of CP's 11th Anniversary and half a respectful tribute to King's death.

We all arrived in the Coffee Shop to celebrate and have some cake (and coffee) despite our sadness. Some famous and rare penguins such as Greema showed up. Megg also kindly came along to the party.

As this was half a celebration, we all put on our brave faces, went to the Town and took a happy selfie to show our appreciation of 11 years on Club Penguin!

It was then time to end the celebration, and to commemorate and pay respect to the death of our dear friend King. Echo006 had kindly decorated his igloo for the occasion. We all placed flowers on his grave and used heart emojis as a mark of respect.

We also took the opportunity to hug and comfort those who had been particularly affected by this tragic occurrence.

We had also started a movement to make King Penguin Of The Week using the hashtag #King89698ForPOTW on Twitter. We told Megg this and she was very supportive of our idea to honour everything King has done for the community in this way:

I'd like to thank everyone for coming, for paying their respect to King, and for honouring everything he has done for us and the community.

RIP King, you shall be missed. Gone but not forgotten.

The 11th Anniversary Party of CP

Hey CP Peeps! Skylar here! 

Firstly, Happy 11th Anniversary to you all! :D

So, I just went to the coffee shop and checked out the 11th Anniversary Party, and I think that it's BRILLIANT! Firstly, the colour scheme for the Anniversary is so good! It has all the reds, oranges, and yellows! Cool right?

So, before the decorations actually started, we could get the Anniversary Hat and the Special Background from the Halloween Party's Inventory.

Then, on the 20th, The Coffee Shop was decorated in all hues of reds, oranges, and yellows, and personally, I loved it!

Completely decorated in reds, oranges, & yellows; the cake at the table, and the Yearbook and Anniversary Hat by the side!

Then after, I checked out the 11th Yearbook of CP, and it has all the events mentioned, except the Halloween Party, which I guess will be mentioned next year, since it clashed with this year's Anniversary.

Personally, I like the 11th Anniversary Party alot! In other words, there is something completely different about CP Parties (no matter how short they are) compared to the never-ending 'Disney Movie Based' parties. Like seriously, there is NOTHING to do in them...

Besides that, I also took a small survey from like 10 penguins from the Dance Club, and 10 penguins from the Stadium. In fact, 18/20 penguins chose 'Yes' when I asked them the first (and the last) question which was 'Do you like the Anniversary Party?' So, I guess that's a great response!

Anyways, I don't know about you guys, but according to many people, the rest of the year on CP is going to be brilliant! Because, hey? We have the Halloween Party going on, which is great! Then we have the Music Jam making it's return, (I swear I'm jumping off my bed at least 3cm each time I think about it) and then we will be having the Holiday Party, I guess? So, why is the going to make this year, at least, a bit enjoyable? Firstly, do you see anything related to Disney? No. So, that's a start, you know? Secondly, the Music Jam is something which ALOT of penguins here are looking forward to, so that is one of the reasons why people will start coming online more, and the server list will be full before you know it! And of course, lets not forget that Dab Shirt! :D

Club Penguin United Circus Of Horrors

Hi Penguins, Tripplem Here :)

Happy Monday once again to all you fellow waddlers out there!

Last night, the CPUnited Team held their weekly event and this week, the theme was clowns. No surprises there, given the recent clown sightings and the fact that Halloween is approaching fast! (Let me know in the comment section below if you have a phobia of clowns!)

I arrived a little late as I had mass procrastinated throughout the weekend with homework, ultimately doing it in the few hours leading up to the party. I had also forgotten to prepare my clown costume, so I quickly changed some of my clothing and this was the end result...

I've also realised I am running dangerously low on coins... Pfft, oh well. 

By the time I arrived on Marshmallow, my fellow clowns had already visited a few "circus" igloos, so no pics of them I'm afraid :(

I found everyone watching Night of the Living Sled in the lighthouse, and immediately noticed that there had been a massive turnout! My ninja girlfriend, Brunohk96 also arrived soon afterwards, and immediately became discomforted by the unusually large hoard of clowns. I tried to comfort her but failed to do so due to my costume.

We then headed to the Ski Hill, where we had a sled race or two. Whilst there, we grabbed the opportunity to take a "scarecrow selfie". I must say, I was very impressed by the clown costumes. My favourite ones were Skip64202, Febrianne and Iceythecool. Looking good guys!

We then waddled over (or teleported) to the slime infested Cove, where we all gathered around the fire and listened to some spooky Halloween tales! However, I think we had all eaten too much candy because we all soon started to toot...

We then waddled over to the Night Club, where we boogied to some spooky SoundStudio songs! Feel free to count the amount of S's I used in that last bit if you are bored. The candy-toot parade continued for a while...

It was then time for a circus-themed igloo tour! Unfortunately, being the forgetful penguin I am, I had forgotten to decorate my igloo in anticipation of this party. There were some epic igloos along the way, and I took some screenshots of my personal favourites:

I know that this isn't a circus igloo, but I really like the design, so I decided to take a picture of it! Thankfully, there were no casualties as we managed to avoid falling into the lava pit...

Remember kids, circus flames are dangerous. They are not recommended for clowns under the age of 3!

We then headed over to my igloo, despite me being reluctant since it wasn't decorated for the occasion. However, we all had fun dancing inside my pumpkin igloo! A Mary Poppins-esque clown also paid a visit...

Nelly21793 Made POTW!

Hi Penguins! Tripplem Here :)

Sorry about posting this so late, I've been a little busy with homework over the last few days. Also, the POTW announcement was postponed until Tuesday due to it being Columbus Day in America on Monday. Megg Monday did not happen, presumably for the same reason.

I am pleased to announce that one of my best friends, Nelly21793 has been made POTW! I first met her about a month ago, and her kindness and positivity have never failed to brighten up my day!

She was nominated by Madog967. Here is her nomination:
